Managing PartnerPunjaporn Kosolkitiwong is a highly experienced disputes lawyer with more than four decades of practice in litigation and arbitration. She advises and represents clients in a broad range of contentious matters, including civil and criminal litigation, intellectual property disputes, tax disputes, administrative proceedings, restructuring and insolvency, and labor matters. Her practice encompasses complex commercial disputes, cross-border arbitration, regulatory disputes, and high-value litigation across multiple industries. She is widely recognised for her strategic judgment, deep litigation experience, and practical approach to managing sophisticated and sensitive disputes. Punjaporn has acted for major domestic and international clients in precedent-setting cases involving intellectual property, tax, insolvency, corporate disputes, infrastructure projects, and investor claims. Her experience includes appearances before Thai courts, arbitral tribunals, and administrative bodies, as well as matters involving multi-jurisdictional enforcement and regulatory issues. Prior to joining Siam Juris Partners Limited, she served as a litigation partner at one of Thailand’s leading law firms for nearly three decades, where she led complex disputes and advised multinational clients on high-stakes litigation matters. She has also contributed extensively to legal education and law reform initiatives, particularly in the areas of bankruptcy and insolvency law.

- Acted for a Japanese listed company and its subsidiary in a THB 9 billion multi-jurisdictional tort dispute involving allegations of abusive litigation and claims under Sections 420 and 421 of the Thai Civil and Commercial Code. The court dismissed the claims in full.
- Represented a claimant in a high-value arbitration arising from a share sale and purchase agreement involving claims exceeding USD 7 million and novel issues concerning the transfer of shares in a publicly listed company.
- Successfully represented a company in trademark registration proceedings concerning the distinctive shape of its bottle, overcoming objections regarding distinctiveness before the Central Intellectual Property and International Trade Court.
- Advised and represented an airline in a landmark tax dispute concerning the corporate income tax obligations of foreign airlines operating in Thailand, successfully distinguishing prior Supreme Court precedent.
- Represented a software developer in a complex copyright infringement dispute against a financial institution involving proprietary interface software and claims resulting in a court-approved settlement valued at approximately THB 80 million.
- Acted in a cross-border arbitration and enforcement dispute involving Export-Import Bank of Thailand and a Vietnamese joint venture company, concerning enforcement of Thai arbitral awards in Vietnam with claims exceeding USD 13 million.
- Represented a major industrial gas company in litigation involving breach of an industrial equipment installation contract with claims exceeding THB 140 million relating to machinery installation, dismantling costs, and business losses.
- Successfully challenged administrative trademark refusal decisions on behalf of a food company, obtaining a court judgment revoking the decisions and ordering registration of the trademark.
- Acted as lead litigation counsel in disputes relating to renewable-energy investment agreements and solar power projects involving complex shareholder and contractual arrangements.
- Professional Contributions
Punjaporn has made significant contributions to legal education and law reform in Thailand. She served for more than ten years as a lecturer in Bankruptcy and Rehabilitation Law for the Lawyers Council of Thailand and represented Thailand in the Asian Development Bank Working Group on Insolvency Law Reform. She has also been invited to speak at international legal conferences, including the Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA) Annual Conference, on insolvency and restructuring matters.
